  • How can I share my photos?

    • Watch the Instructional Videos for More Info...

    • In the Admin interface, you can select a existing roll and you'll see a button labeled "E-Mail Link to this Roll".  Click this button and it'll open an empty email containing the proper link.  You will also see this same button on the Images tab as well.

    • In the Admin interface, you can also select "Create EMail with Link to this Item" from the drop down selector beside of the image, this will create an email with a link to this specific image.  There is also an option "Copy Link to this Item to ClipBoard (IE Only)" that only works with Internet Explorer on the PC and will copy the link to the clipboard so that you can paste it elsewhere.

  • How can I customize my gallery?

    • There are a lot of options for configuring the look and feel of your gallery.  You can even assign a different configuration to each album you create.  Yes, it can get confusing at times.  However, to upload and share photos you do not need to change any of the configuration options, simply add an album, add a roll, and upload images - then email out the link to your image to your family, friends, associates, etc.

    • We are working on adding a series of templates and wizards to make it simple to select from a predefined set of choices for how your gallery looks.  We hope to have this finished soon.

  • Why does it take so long for the Java Upload applet to load, and why is it even necessary?

    • We've added a HTTP Upload page that you can use if you have trouble with the Java applet.

    • The Java Upload applet is required to facilitate smooth and successful multiple file uploads and display a progress indicator.  It does take a few seconds to load the applet however, because Java does not store the applet locally on your computer.

    • There are other options we could use, however, Java is cross-platform compatible, meaning it works on Windows and Mac based computers.

    • The Java Upload applet also allows you to browse through your images and see a preview of the image as you select images to upload.  This is much more user friendly than simply displaying a file list.  It also handles the communication between your computer and our servers as files are uploaded.
